Cindy Danbom brought years of experience to her business. She has Fashion Merchandising and Marketing degrees and worked as a fashion merchandiser and buyer before opening Belle Notte in Los Angeles and planning “outrageous celebrity events.” But she discovered “her calling,” weddings, in 2002. “I love taking a vision from my clients and bringing it to life well beyond what they thought was possible.”
She explains that wedding planning takes about 200 hours, and her goals is to save you time with several service levels she defines in a humorous, but realistic way.
One level, ‘Help me I’m drowning!’ is for couples who have their vision but are overwhelmed. She says the toughest problem for couples is finding vendors, and this level includes vendor identification. “I am able to pair brides with vendors that suit their style and needs, and that I know are of reputable caliber.”
‘The Whole Enchilada,” full planning, is most popular. “Most brides quickly begin to realize how time consuming it can be planning a wedding.” The ‘Enchilada” includes everything from helping design save-the-date notices, to assuring toasting glasses are in place, and everything between.
For couples just needing a little wedding weekend help, Cindy offers a ‘Let me Just Enjoy the Day’ package too.
Cindy’s goal is also stress relief, especially from last minute details. “It can be something as simple as the seating plan,” she explains. But she adds, “The biggest thing is this is a very emotional, personal day. Emotions fly and I am there to bring focus and calm.”
Cindy offers a tip. “There are many complexities to planning your wedding, ranging from design, to etiquette, and legal contracts. Hire a planner who has experience.” But she also advises you to have fun! “A wedding should be fun. Too many brides are stressed out instead of having fun being engaged.”
