| Naturally, the lovely southern couple Dana & Brian Rooks, along with their family and friends, are avid Georgia Bulldog football fans....after all; they live in Athens, Georgia! So what’s a couple in love to do when their wedding date falls on the same day as the Georgia-Florida football game? Oh dear, that’s a difficult choice....but not if you have your ceremony at the beautiful University of Georgia Chapel! This setting was the perfect solution...giving family and friends a warmhearted and personal ambience in the spirit of what they all love....the Georgia Bulldogs! And to kick it up a notch, getting the guests super excited as the groom entered the ceremony; the Dickens band gave the guests just what they wanted.... a few bars of the song used to kick off UGA home games! |

| For the reception, southern charm was just as important. Some of the delightful details of Dana & Brian’s wedding were their choice of foods. This southern flair carried throughout the reception cuisine as Hallie Jane’s Catering prepared the barbecue pork, salad with sliced pears and pecans with gorgonzola, and shrimp with grits and Grandfather’s recipe for hushpuppies. Old fashioned strawberry cake from Dream Cakes International was a definite hit with everyone too. To top off the last southern detail, the clever idea of individually wrapping Krispy Kreme donuts and bottled Coke for favors where given to the guests following the reception. |
