Tiffany and Mike first met at her best friend’s birthday in Washington, D.C. and then was later set up by Tiffany’s best friend during her senior year of college at Miami, Fl. Mike was on a business trip in Florida and the two went on their first official date in South Beach..

Mike and Tiffany were in Italy with her parents and on the first night there in Rome, he asked for her dad’s permission and he said, “Yes.” Mike waited until they all to Capri and during a romantic dinner he proposed. The restaurant played Andrea Bochelli’s “Conte Par Tiro,” for the newly engaged. “To be proposed to by the love of my life, in one of the most magical places on Earth was beyond anything I had ever pictured or imagined,” Tiffany expressed.

Tiffany wanted a really soft, romantic, vintage, “Anthropologie” look
and carried a bouquet of cascading white dendrobium orchid blooms. The décor of the wedding included lanterns and beautiful chandeliers, including one above the antique, white-washed iron garden structure altar at the ceremony. There were also clusters of metal lanterns with matte gilded column candles within, and parasols in the aisle.
As guests arrived to the reception, they were treated to the sounds of a guitar duo playing. The ambiance was relaxing with lanterns, which were strung up and rose petals lined the garden path to the estate terrace. The couple wanted an elegant and classy wedding, and played off the peachy-coral color of the estate. The color tones of ivory and champagne were in the bride’s dress -and transcended into soft peach and a deeper coral color in the flowers. There were accents of gold and platinum and delicate beading in the linen overlays and place settings. Gold Chivari chairs added an elegant, luxurious touch, while The Wildflower linens had embroidered lace overlays on them. The flowers were a main theme in the wedding, which included antique gold etched glass candlesticks that held white orchids, white hydrangea and coral garden roses as centerpieces. The couple also chose to have sleek contemporary sofas that were set around the fountain.
Guests and family feasted on grilled shrimp wrapped with pancetta and stuffed with Asiago cheese, grilled Beef Florentine with Tuscan Olive Oil, smoked Chile and basil purees, crisp mini cannolis, imported cheeses and other Italian fare. The multiple tiered wedding cake was quite grand with cream, champagne and coral roses in between each layer and elegant detailing on the cake. Jewels from the bride’s dress were incorporated on to the cake to give it that elegant, personal touch.

The couple honeymooned in Capri, Italy, the same local where the proposal occured.
