City Hall Rotunda, San Jose, CA Patricia and Robert were first introduced by a mutual friend at a social gathering. They also became good friends, and eventually began to date. Because they had dated for several years, when Robert proposed to her on New Year’s Eve 2005 in Palm Springs where they were visiting, Patricia says she was totally surprised. To honor their parents, who had passed away, on the church pews the couple arranged a spray of flowers in honor of each of their mothers, a fedora hat in honor of Robert’s father, and to honor Patricia’s father, there was a stethoscope. Guests were greeted at the San Jose City Hall Rotunda by a lighted entryway from the curb to the door. The Muchismo Mariachi group, some of Robert’s favorite music, serenaded the guests as they arrived. For the ceremony, Patricia chose an Ines De Santos, Ivory Silk Mermaid gown and Jimmy Choo shoes. Her hair and make-up were done by Umbrella Salon. Robert chose a tuxedo by Selix. After the ceremony, the Mariachis entertained again during cocktails. Then an elegant reception dinner was presented, including a first course of Scallop Ceviche with Avocado and Mango Tartar; a second course of heirloom Tomato Consommé, and for the Intermezzo, Red Current Sorbet was served. For the main course, guests had a selection of Grilled Filet Mignon or Wild Alaskan Halibut with Dungeness Crab Fondue. The wedding cake was by Debbie Smith of Not Just Cheesecake. The couple chose theme colors in Chocolate Brown, Chartreuse, and Ivory, and these colors were reflected in their linens and china pattern. The Rotunda was draped in Crème chiffon fabric, designed to create an aura of mystery and romance. Soft lighting in apricot, created by John Woods of Enhanced Lighting added to the romantic mood. Music was provided by Wendell Davis, Full Swing Entertainment. Other celebrations included a rehearsal dinner at Original Joe’s in San Jose. Patricia and Robert spent their wedding night at the Montgomery Hotel in San Jose, then spent several weeks visiting New York, London, and Paris.	Kim & Niki Photographers
