Any diamond will carry a romantic message to a beloved bride, but only one will set her heart on fire. A diamond that is so perfectly cut that it has all the classic elements of a diamond’s beauty—brilliance, dispersion and scintillation. A diamond that sparkles like a red-hot fire. A Hearts On Fire diamond.

Stopping Time in Photos
Triplecord Photography
For Annette Biggers of Triplecord Photography, her business is obviously about a lot more than snapping pictures. When asked what she likes about her job, her answer sounds much more philosophical than technical. “You’re taking something three dimensional and making it two, so you must put that spirit back into the photo by paying attention to
personality,” she says. “If you look at the subject as someone you
deeply care for, it breaks downs walls of inhibition for them, because
really, it’s a fearful thing to be photographed. We love the people we
take pictures of, and that makes all the difference.”
Triplecord has many accomplishments. They have been named one of the
top five photographers in Los Angeles, by Fox LA, and they have
photographed many celebrities, such as Tiger Woods. But Annette likes
to focus on something deeper.

The Event of a Lifetime
Open your heart to benefit orphans in Kenya and win a $35,000 dream wedding
|
“A lot of people tell us that they have never felt so cherished,” she says genuinely, “even celebrities who get photographed all the time.” Annette continues sharing from her heart, “What I love about weddings is that you are dealing with one of the most important days of their lives, and everyone celebrating that. The amazing energy and chemistry just makes our jobs so easy and worth it.”
It’s difficult to talk to Annett without leaving the conversation inspired, because you can tell that she is, about life, and about her work. “You’ll burn out unless you have a vision bigger than yourself,” she says. Her vision is a non-profit called Heart4Africa, which houses orphans in Kenya. “I want to celebrate people who are the least celebrated,” she says. “Orphans are part of the least celebrated, and I want to give them a voice. That is more important than photography.”
Even with all of their charity work, the staff at Triplecord love to create unique, beautifully hand-crafted photo albums, custom-made especially for every couple they photograph. “Every page is a work of art,” Annette says proudly. “We make them in- house on beautiful fine quality paper.” She also stresses Triplecord’s impeccable customer service. “We’ve been known to say to clients, we are your slaves,” she says. “And we will happily fly around the globe to serve our clients. We love to travel.”
But ultimately, why do Triplecord’s clients choose them? This is best answered in Annette’s own words. “We are artists who are thrilled to have found a tangible way to bless people with our gift. By approaching our subjects with kindness, energy, and joy, we get to be part of a magical process by which a spark of human spirit is caught forever in an image. Time is stopped and handed to our client in a beautiful, timeless photo. It's fun, and it's exciting. We are happy people and we want our clients to be happy too.”

#11 QUICK FIX
Traveling with an emergency kit is like the American Express campaign, “Don’t leave home without it.” It should have everything from panty hose and nail glue to smelling salts and Tums, but the most commonly used item is SAFETY PINS! Although you should have a needle and thread, I have resorted to using safety pins for fixing hems on tuxedos, bustling the brides gown, pinning broken bra straps and creating a veil or headpiece out of tulle when the bride’s was left at home. Safety pins are great for a “quick fix.”

#31 FLORAL DECOR
No wedding is complete without flowers. Try updating the traditional
centerpiece by using masses of your favorite flowers in a variety of
complementary tones for added texture and interest. For instance, if
your bloom-of-choice is the gerbera daisy, try one centerpiece with
dozens of red gerberas, another with orange, and another with
fuchsia-colored bunches. Let your imagination run wild!

#21 LA FLEUR TABLE
Cover your entire table top with a single bold color of petals. Not
just a scattering, but the entire top of the table with a thick layer
of petals! You can purchase them at a farmers market or order them
through your florist. Place your chargers, place settings, glassware
and centerpieces in a contrasting color and lots of candles directly
onto the petals for a stunning, romantic look!
