Any diamond will carry a romantic message to a beloved bride, but only one will set her heart on fire. A diamond that is so perfectly cut that it has all the classic elements of a diamond’s beauty—brilliance, dispersion and scintillation. A diamond that sparkles like a red-hot fire. A Hearts On Fire diamond.

“We get our inspiration from the ‘oohs’ and ‘aahs’ received by our clients & guests as they walk into a lavishly decorated room,” Carol Miller, owner of POSH Productions, Inc. shares with Your Wedding Day. “It's apparent in their faces as the event unfolds that we have found our calling.”
Carol has found her calling! In fact, she discovered her love for cooking at the early age of nine years old as she prepared family meals. “After my experimental cooking for my family, I ventured into cooking for friends, relatives and anyone who would try my new creations,” she said. Upon becoming an adult, her “hobby” quickly became more, Carol | | | shares, “because of my strong desire to create exceptional food, I began my journey in the hospitality industry, traveling extensively to broaden my culinary expertise.” It was then that she realized cooking was not just a hobby, it was her passion, and a passion that was here to stay. “The natural ability came with ease,” she explained, and soon her love for cooking and her entrepreneurial spirit came together creating POSH Productions, Inc.
It was 1979 that Carol established her catering company. Today, POSH Productions, Inc., is a full service production and catering company specializing in cuisine and event design for all of Southern California from San Diego to Malibu. “POSH is truly a caterer for all needs,” Carols expresses, “whether you have 500 guests, or more, sitting down to a seven-course dinner, or a more intimate cocktail reception for 20. Every event is catered to meet your needs and exceed your expectations. Our passion is creating custom menus for every event, delicious and imaginative cuisine from the hors d'oeuvres to the desserts.” For a glimpse of POSH Productions, Inc. creations, do visit their website for a sample menu -- to begin your festive dinner, enjoy a Gazpacho Shot of Crab Confit with Lime Essence and for the decadent finale, take pleasure in Key Lime Tart with Meringue or a Flourless Chocolate Torte with Crème Anglaise!
Amid the extensive praise from both fellow professionals and previous clients, POSH Productions, Inc. and Carol combined, have received numerous achievements. Most notable, Carol has assisted award winning cookbook authors and master chefs, on television and on stage. In fact, Carol was personally invited to submit her life story and a recipe to the Chicken Soup for the Soul Cookbook. She has also received an invitation to become a member of the exclusive Les Dames d’Escoffier International, whose mission, she explained, is to lead the way to excellence in food, beverage, and hospitality. “This organization,” Carol explained, “unifies women through the group members’ personal achievements, visions of leadership, and support of aspiring culinary professionals, all with an emphasis on opportunities for women and contributions to their communities.”
This, of course, represents just a fraction of the list of accomplishments and awards. Combined with her unique design and culinary talents, Carol has developed POSH Productions, Inc. into an award winning company recently named one of the “Top 5 Caterers in Orange County.”
Carol divulges that in making excellence a priority, this allows POSH Productions, Inc. to meet their highest priority, you! “We recognize that by delivering excellence, we will have achieved our ultimate goal -- your loyalty,” she said. “From our culinary staff to our service crew, we are a cohesive team... committed, attentive, and accessible. The continued allegiance of our diverse client base is the best testament to our service and product.”
There are many reasons for this allegiance we learned. It is POSH’s unique and elegant sense of style and graceful nature, both in the food and event design; an impeccable eye for detail; a nurturing and poised demeanor, and their experienced team of Wedding Coordinators ability to conceptualize and develop the couples’ visions and execute them in the grandest style.
“It is all about the accolades we get from friends, families and couples alike,” Carol summarized at the end of the interview. “Those are the moments that make all the hard work worth it. This makes our job rewarding a thousand times over. Share with us your vision! We take pleasure in executing your dreams and making your dream-day a reality. This is truly our passion and inspiration.”

#26 MARRYING MINDFULLY
Creating the “perfect wedding” can easily overshadow what is really
important about getting married—creating a sacred and lifelong bond
with your beloved. Your wedding is not a “to-do” list. Take time to
tend to your relationship and to yourselves so that you enter into the
celebration relaxed, joyful, and with a full heart.

#11 QUICK FIX
Traveling with an emergency kit is like the American Express campaign, “Don’t leave home without it.” It should have everything from panty hose and nail glue to smelling salts and Tums, but the most commonly used item is SAFETY PINS! Although you should have a needle and thread, I have resorted to using safety pins for fixing hems on tuxedos, bustling the brides gown, pinning broken bra straps and creating a veil or headpiece out of tulle when the bride’s was left at home. Safety pins are great for a “quick fix.”

# 6 RECIPES FOR FAVORS
Gather together the favorite recipes that you remember as a child. They could be special family recipes, holiday menus, etc. Have them bound in small books, affix a wedding label on the front with your monogram and date that you were married. And there you have it, a unique favor that your guests will use again and again. Also, it is a wonderful way to acknowledge grandmothers and mothers.
