“People think that because the event is in Hawaii, it is more casual but it is not that way at all! I like a more fashionable, more urban look if I can. Of course it depends on the bride, but I like to have some more style.”

Events by Evonne is based around Evonne’s belief in strong customer service and personal attention. “I genuinely love weddings and I really care about my clients,” she said. “Clients have to feel comfortable with me because I really get into their lives. Otherwise, I can’t bring their vision to their wedding.”

Her cardinal rules? “Never let emails sit for more than 24 hours and always acknowledge a voicemail, especially regarding destination weddings.”
