What will make your guests talk about your wedding forever? How about
a rich and smooth caramelized hazelnut dark chocolate from the official
chocolatier of the Belgian royal family? Or how about a perfectly
blended passionfruit infused white chocolate from Switzerland? Welcome
to CocoaBella Chocolates, and meet Michael Freeman – a chocolate lover
– who has dedicated himself and his entire business to searching the
globe for the finest old-world, handmade chocolates on the planet.
Chocolate connoisseur, Michael Freeman says, “The CocoaBella experience
is different from the traditional American chocolate experience. We
travel all over the globe to find those artisan chocolate craftsmen who
hand-make each chocolate with top-shelf ingredients without
preservatives, wax or loads of unhealthy sugar.” |

Weddings are made extra special by thoughtful, unique and memorable touches, and CocoaBella has been making weddings truly unforgettable. Specializing in wedding favors and chocolate dessert tables, Michael explains, “We present the chocolates in such a way that illustrates their artistic beauty, unique quality and brilliant flavors.”
Bridal couples have an array of more than 175 different flavors from which to choose, and the creative options are plentiful. The spectrum of choices includes dark chocolate, milk, floral, spice, fruit, nuts and caramel. Michael says, “We can customize the wedding chocolate experience for each couple to match their personalities and the wedding theme. They can select a heart-shaped raspberry praline from Switzerland, or a piece from Italy where the couple fell in love. Each piece can have significance and meaning to the wedding. With the gift boxes, we can create custom menu cards with a special message, or we can choose a ribbon that matches the bridesmaids’ dresses. These are just some of the ways we make a couple’s wedding truly memorable.”
The compliments that Michael and the team receive inspire them to keep up the search all over the planet for the greatest chocolatiers. “We search the small villages of Europe, discovering new chocolates all the time. It’s worth it when a guest takes the time to call us after a wedding and tell us that the chocolates were the most impressive part.”
CocoaBella is the leading retailer of small batch, artisanal chocolates from 19 different chocolatiers in seven different countries. They are fully-focused chocolate connoisseurs who take great pride in their product, their knowledge of it, and their willingness to go the extra mile to ensure that a couple’s wedding is right up there with the chocolate gods.
While CocoaBella is situated in San Francisco, they can ship their chocolates across the nation and even into Canada. They work seamlessly with wedding coordinators and caterers and are open to entertaining creative ideas. To discuss how to make your wedding truly unforgettable, give Michael a call.

#16 COMFORTABLE RECEPTIONS
Reception spaces are taking on a comfort
theme nowadays. Rather than using cocktail tables alone, couples are
creating a lounge effect in their reception areas by adding cozy
furniture groupings of sofas and coffee tables, along with tenting and
draping, lamps and lanterns, lit up trees and dozens of candles. You
may want to hire a jazz quartet or flamenco trio to create a sultry
ambiance. Some couples are even hiring cigar rollers! You can also
use this set-up outdoors for a living room beneath the stars!

# 1 - LOUNGING ANYWHERE
Wonder what to do to a resort ballroom to make it more interesting and intimate? You can create individual lounge areas by renting tents of sheer flowing fabric and adding sofas and coffee tables with lots of candlelight in them. You’ve suddenly created that romantic lounge atmosphere in a standard ballroom and given it more intimacy. Your guests can move to different “rooms” during the cocktails hour or or they can dance the night away. Jill La Fleur, The Wedding Planner

#11 QUICK FIX
Traveling with an emergency kit is like the American Express campaign, “Don’t leave home without it.” It should have everything from panty hose and nail glue to smelling salts and Tums, but the most commonly used item is SAFETY PINS! Although you should have a needle and thread, I have resorted to using safety pins for fixing hems on tuxedos, bustling the brides gown, pinning broken bra straps and creating a veil or headpiece out of tulle when the bride’s was left at home. Safety pins are great for a “quick fix.”
