Brandy Cabral, owner of Bliss Event Productions got her start by planning her own wedding! “I have always been a very detail-orientated individual,” she explains to Your Wedding Day, “and I love designing and putting elements together to create stunning, one-of-a kind looks.”
She says her own wedding was an enjoyable experience, but afterward she had the “wedding planning blues.” It was her new husband to the rescue, suggesting coordination courses, which Brandy’s “blues” became a rainbow of experiences when she enrolled in the Association of Bridal Consultants professional development program and began her apprentice work.

“I had the privilege of working with a truly amazing individual who taught me a lot about the business, especially within the areas of vision and design. This was great because I was able to work with someone who ran their business the way I wanted to run mine.”
Soon, Brandy was running her own, Bliss Event Productions, focusing on Full Service Planning and Coordination. “This allows me to have full knowledge of all aspects and details of the wedding as they are being made,” Brandy says. “The wedding day runs much smoother with less stress on the couple and their families as they know I can handle it all.” She is known for her “day-of” coordination too, and for her corporate and social event planning.
Brandy says her inspiration is derived from the event itself. “I really enjoy all aspects of planning and coordinating weddings and special events. I love putting all the details together and watching the vision turn into reality, day-by-day, until it reaches it fulfillment on the wedding day.” But the true inspiration comes from her clients. “Everyone has unique aspects they want to convey and stories they want told. Making that happen and seeing the joy and happiness from the couple, is magical.”
It’s the actual wedding-day magic that Brandy looks forward to the most. “I love watching everything come together, and most of all, seeing everyone enjoy the fruits of their labor and having a great time.”
When asked about noteworthy accomplishments, Brandy says, “The most priceless accomplishment is when a bride, groom, or parent approaches me to say the wedding exceeded their expectations and that without me, it would not have been possible. Their gratitude and happiness is my biggest achievement.” She adds that she’s also proud when her weddings are featured in publications such as Your Wedding Day, or on TV. Brandy considers referrals an achievement too. “That means someone truly enjoyed their working experience with me and thought enough to pass my name along.”
Hundreds of couples have been fortunate to have Bliss Event Productions for their Coordination and Design Company which the majority of Brandy’s couples are destination clients relying on her extensive knowledge of California’s Napa /Sonoma Valley for their Wine Country wedding. “Because I work with so many couples from afar, I know what it takes to work with them and make them feel like they are planning a local wedding,” Brandy explains. “They trust me to recommend the locations and all the vendors, as they will most likely get to meet them only once before their wedding, and walk their location in person maybe a few months before they exchange their vows.”
Given her love of destination weddings, we wondered how far Brandy might travel to create fabulous weddings. “If a couple came to me and appreciated the work I do enough to hire me to travel to another locale, I would do it,” she says. “I love an exotic or European affair, but if it was to be in Tulsa, then I would get out my boots, cowboy hat, and head on out!”
Brandy cites many reasons that both destination and local couples call upon her, “I have had brides tell me they felt like we clicked when we first spoke. Brides must feel comfortable being able to talk openly with their coordinator as to what they want and what their expectations are.” This way, she knows their expectations right away. “Clients appreciate this and hire me because they feel I can handle their wants and needs.”
Whether your wants and needs are Wine Country, Exotic, European, or a little Country, Brandy will be there, Blissfully by your side.

#26 MARRYING MINDFULLY
Creating the “perfect wedding” can easily overshadow what is really
important about getting married—creating a sacred and lifelong bond
with your beloved. Your wedding is not a “to-do” list. Take time to
tend to your relationship and to yourselves so that you enter into the
celebration relaxed, joyful, and with a full heart.

#11 QUICK FIX
Traveling with an emergency kit is like the American Express campaign, “Don’t leave home without it.” It should have everything from panty hose and nail glue to smelling salts and Tums, but the most commonly used item is SAFETY PINS! Although you should have a needle and thread, I have resorted to using safety pins for fixing hems on tuxedos, bustling the brides gown, pinning broken bra straps and creating a veil or headpiece out of tulle when the bride’s was left at home. Safety pins are great for a “quick fix.”

#21 LA FLEUR TABLE
Cover your entire table top with a single bold color of petals. Not
just a scattering, but the entire top of the table with a thick layer
of petals! You can purchase them at a farmers market or order them
through your florist. Place your chargers, place settings, glassware
and centerpieces in a contrasting color and lots of candles directly
onto the petals for a stunning, romantic look!
