They are led by Deborah’s choreographing skills that come
to light no matter how complex a special event may be, and her gracious
touch and stress-free presence become vital components to everyone’s
happy experience of their special day. One admiring bride said,
“Deborah and her colleagues at Bella Vita Events are breathtakingly
responsible. You just know that you’re in the best hands possible with
everything under control.”
Deborah’s passion for what she does is driven by her desire to really make people feel like guests at their own beautiful life event. She says, “I am constantly inspired by my clients and talented vendors. I love to watch all the creative ideas and planning come alive with the array of emotions that accompany each special touch. In the end, it’s really like a higher calling that is tremendously satisfying. I love to make a wedding a couple’s own – and I take great pride in keeping the costs down as if it were my own check book.”
Deborah’s impressive production abilities were recently displayed to great effect when she pulled off a couple’s dream wedding in one day! She orchestrated a ‘surprise’ wedding in Kauai. The groom wanted to sweep his ladylove off her feet with a proposal and wedding all in one day. The bride woke up to an invitation to her own wedding which was scheduled for 4:30 pm the same day. From the moment she opened her eyes, everything unfolded seamlessly from the marriage license, visits to three dress shops to select the gown, and the arrival of the flowers. Eighteen guests were flown in and secluded in a hotel. The ceremony took place in a cabana on the beach followed by a sunset cruise reception. “What was so valuable,” says Deborah, “is that I was able to instinctually create and feed on the moment. When you’ve been in so many facets of the entertainment industry, you just know how to turn up the heat at the appropriate time to produce the ‘aha’ moment.”
Deborah has earned a reputation for being highly ethical, affordable and fair. She holds high levels of expectations for herself and her vendors. Her calmness - both in her voice and her demeanor - even in the eye of an occasional storm – has served her well. Her genuine appreciation of people’s lives and the special aspects that enrich them make her an ideal destination-wedding producer. She says enthusiastically, “I love, love, love to travel. Imagine what a hoot it would be to do a progressive wedding on the Orient Express that takes guests through different countries from the cocktails to the reception?”
The creativity and passion never run dry at Bella Vita Events.

#16 COMFORTABLE RECEPTIONS
Reception spaces are taking on a comfort
theme nowadays. Rather than using cocktail tables alone, couples are
creating a lounge effect in their reception areas by adding cozy
furniture groupings of sofas and coffee tables, along with tenting and
draping, lamps and lanterns, lit up trees and dozens of candles. You
may want to hire a jazz quartet or flamenco trio to create a sultry
ambiance. Some couples are even hiring cigar rollers! You can also
use this set-up outdoors for a living room beneath the stars!

#21 LA FLEUR TABLE
Cover your entire table top with a single bold color of petals. Not
just a scattering, but the entire top of the table with a thick layer
of petals! You can purchase them at a farmers market or order them
through your florist. Place your chargers, place settings, glassware
and centerpieces in a contrasting color and lots of candles directly
onto the petals for a stunning, romantic look!

# 1 - LOUNGING ANYWHERE
Wonder what to do to a resort ballroom to make it more interesting and intimate? You can create individual lounge areas by renting tents of sheer flowing fabric and adding sofas and coffee tables with lots of candlelight in them. You’ve suddenly created that romantic lounge atmosphere in a standard ballroom and given it more intimacy. Your guests can move to different “rooms” during the cocktails hour or or they can dance the night away. Jill La Fleur, The Wedding Planner
